1. The Online Store

This website is operated by Sourdough SAL (“Sourdough”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, wholesale partners, and subscribers.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not access the website or use our services.

 

2. Our Products & Craft Commitment

Sourdough produces artisan breads, pastries, sandwiches, beverages, and seasonal creations in limited daily batches.

Because our products are handcrafted and freshly prepared:

  • Availability is limited and subject to sell-out.

  • Presentation may vary slightly from images.

  • Certain items may only be available for specific pickup windows.

  • We use organic raw material wherever possible. However, not all materials (like salt, sugar, and butter... etc.) can be sourced organically at all times, in these situations we always fallback to non-processed, non-GMO, and no preservative alternatives.

We reserve the right to limit quantities per customer or per order to preserve product quality and fairness.

 

3. Pricing & Currency

All prices are listed in:

USD (or LBP equivalent according to the official Banque du Liban rate).

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice.

If a pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Payment must be completed at checkout using approved payment methods before the order is confirmed.

 

4. Orders & Acceptance

Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. This confirmation does not constitute final acceptance.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any order.

  • Limit quantities.

  • Cancel suspected resale or fraudulent transactions.

If we cancel a paid order, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

 

5. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup

Orders must be collected when notified within the agreed pickup window from the specified branch. We are not responsible for product quality if pickup is significantly delayed beyond the agreed time.

 

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to preparation, production, operational, or traffic conditions. Customers are responsible for providing accurate address and contact information.

We are not liable for failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.

 

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

  • Orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled pickup or delivery time.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours may not be eligible for refund.

  • Orders already prepared are non-refundable.

If you receive an incorrect or damaged product, please contact us within 24 hours with photos and order details.

Refunds (when applicable) will be issued to the original payment method.

 

7. Subscriptions & Recurring Bread Boxes

Sourdough may offer subscription services, including recurring bread boxes or curated selections.

By subscribing:

  • You authorize recurring charges according to the selected frequency.

  • Subscription billing will continue until cancelled.

  • Subscription modifications or cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the next scheduled processing date.

We reserve the right to modify box contents based on seasonal availability while maintaining overall value and quality.

Failure to cancel within the required window may result in the next cycle being processed and charged.

8. Wholesale / B2B Accounts

Sourdough may provide wholesale supply to cafés, restaurants, hotels, retailers, schools, corporate clients, and other hospitality partners.

Wholesale accounts are subject to:

  • Pre-approval by Sourdough SAL.

  • Minimum order quantities.

  • Agreed pricing structures.

  • Pre-scheduled production windows.

Wholesale orders must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment terms (cash, transfer, or credit terms if applicable) must be respected. Late payments may result in suspension of service.

Sourdough reserves the right to terminate wholesale partnerships that do not align with our quality, brand, or operational standards.

 

9. Loyalty Programs & Institutional Discounts

Sourdough may offer loyalty programs, promotional discounts, or institutional benefits.

Participation in loyalty or discount programs:

  • Does not constitute a contractual right.

  • May be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time.

  • Cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.

Institutional discounts apply only to verified members and may require identification or validation.

Sourdough reserves the right to refuse discount application if eligibility cannot be verified.

 

10. Allergies & Food Safety

Our products may contain or come into contact with:

  • Gluten

  • Dairy

  • Eggs

  • Nuts

  • Sesame

  • Soy

While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Customers with allergies are responsible for reviewing ingredients before purchase.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including branding, product names, photography, design, copywriting, and logos, is the exclusive property of Sourdough SAL.

No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

Sourdough SAL shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages.

  • Product quality issues resulting from improper storage after pickup or delivery.

  • Health issues resulting from undisclosed allergies.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

 

13. Privacy

Customer data is collected solely for order processing, communication, and service improvement.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page.
